Career Path

In 2018, I began my professional journey by choosing to study Management at ISCTE-IUL- From the start, I sought opportunities that would provide me with a broad understanding of business world.

In my first year of university, I joined Lidl’s summer internship program. Over two months, I rotated through several departments, gaining insight into the importance of communication across the company’s core functions.

Due to covid-19, I was unable to continue the internship, but that did not discourage me. Instead, I remained motivated and pursued a new challenge through an Erasmus exchange at Stockholm University, Sweden. It was there that I discovered my genuine enthusiasm for working in a multicultural environment.

Upon completing my degree, I took on the role of R&D Project Management at Mota-Engil. In this role, I collaborated with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, refining my strategic, analytical, and communication skills. By experiencing all phases of a project lifecycle, I realized how motivating and rewarding project dynamism can be. Once again, cross-departmental collaboration deepened my appreciation for how interconnected efforts drive collective success — something I value deeply.

Profissional Experience

R&D Project Manager at Mota-Engil oct/2021 - oct/2024 Oeiras, Lisbon

My main tasks in managing innovative projects co-financed by the EU, such as PT2020 and PRR, included:

Project management and supervision: Overseeing planning through GANTT schedule, cost monitoring, and close collaboration between internal and external teams.
Financial analysis, risk management, and continuous improvement: Managing the financial aspects of each project, identifying risks, implementing solutions, and driving continuous process improvement.
Communication: Managing client relationships and promoting projects at national and international events.
Strategic department development: Managing and defining KPIs, and implementing actions to drive growth,efficiency, and both financial and interpersonal sustainability.

As a brand promoter, my responsibilities can be divided into:

Direct customer interaction: Conducting brand activations and product launches, boosting sales, and identifying improvement opportunities through consumer feedback.
Event organization and participation: Coordinating promotional materials, providing logistical support, managing payments and cash register operations, and enhancing brand visibility.

Summer Internship no Lidl jul/2019 - aug/2019 Sintra, Lisbon

During my internship, I gained insight into the challenges of the sales department, the daily reality of a Lidl store, the complexity of logistics processes, and the crucial role of communication and organization within the warehouse.
